Kingdom & Sparrow / Anagram Beer | Packaging Design

Romanian craft beer micro brewery Anagram was developed by a husband and wife team to brew and develop distinctive beer with a twist on an otherwise very traditional beer scene in Romania.

They wanted a label design for their beers with flexibility so that they could work with local designers, artists and photographers to create a variety of visuals to use as backgrounds to feature on their bottles.

Working closely with Kingdom & Sparrow I helped create the brand and packaging design, giving it a modern and on trend pink hue that contrasts strongly against the black logo and clean typography. The logo (developed by the Kingdom and Sparrow team) plays on the nature of the Anagram brand name, with a rearranged alignment, combining it with lifestyle imagery inspired by one of the brewery creators Californian background, calling on those long summer days and a laid back coastal look and feel.
